How long does a Lullo class run for?

Classes run for approximately 45 - 60minutes

Do I need to bring anything?

A mat, or muslin cloth to place bub down on and a massage oil that you are comfortable and confident in using on baby’s skin. Although not crucial to apply during class as you can practice without the oil.

Can expecting mothers attend a Lullo class?

Learning massage techniques in preparation for baby helps a mother physically and emotionally prepare for connecting with her baby post birth and gain the knowledge in health benefits that massage provides this provides confidence in knowing how to soothe and comfort a newborn through touch helps reduce anxiety and increase maternal confidence.

The class provides spare massage dolls for practice of techniques.

How old should baby be to to attend a Lullo class?

4 weeks to pre-crawling is the most beneficial time to attend classes.

I’m worried my baby will be restless?

Babies are not expected/very rarely interested in being massaged for the class duration. You are encouraged and celebrated to tend to baby’s needs at any time during the class - there will be chairs to sit if you need to be up off the floor and I have spare dolls to practice the skills on if baby is sleeping.

I provide a handout summarising the techniques discussed for you to refer to at home.

Can I bring my partner/family members with me to a Lullo class?

Class fee includes 2 adults and baby, if you wanted to bring an additional support person please email upon booking for me to review the class size of that booking to ensure there is sufficient space prior to arrival.
